Props to the Guy Behind the Lens

C.O. Bigelow products as seen through the eyes of Stephen Webster.

It’s not often that retailers give thanks to the photographers behind the scenes and here at Bigelow we hope to change this trend. The recent buzz has been amazing around the new photo illustrations gracing our retail stores and it’s the wonderful relationship between Stephen and the Bigelow team that make this possible.

Stephen Webster, a photographer/illustrator based in Columbus, Ohio has been creating playful images over the last 2 decades. Photo District News describes Stephen’s work as resembling “a head on collision between Rene Magritte, a View Master, and the Brady Bunch.”  To see more inspiring work from one of our favorite photographers we encourage you to check out his link below.

The C.O. Bigelow Candles are Here

COB_candle_blog

It was only a matter of time before our C.O. Bigelow fragrance experts introduced their own line of premium candles. This luxurious line of 12 new C.O. Bigelow fragrances complements an already impressive mix of new and classic candle favorites by the likes of Diptyque, Nest, Henri Bendel and Thymes.

Our C.O. Bigelow candles are created using the same thoughtfulness and high quality ingredients used in our world-famous apothecary products. They smell heavenly, burn clean and evenly, and are wonderfully long-lasting. We like to think of our candles as our newest classics – as sure to stand the test of time as our original formularies.

Current results show Balsam as the front running favorite fragrance by a slim margin.

Candle Collection Favorites

thymes_blog

Rounding out the ultimate candle collection at C.O. Bigelow are some classic favorites from Henri Bendel and Thymes.

Henri Bendel

Legendary Manhattan boutique, Henri Bendel, has a heritage steeped in fashion, luxury and indulgence so, of course, their candles are the epitome of chic. Master perfumers blend each exclusive scent using the finest oils, which fill your room with 50 hours of beautiful fragrance

Thymes

Thymes claims their nature-inspired home fragrances enlighten your surroundings, and we find that especially true of their reed diffusers. The graceful bamboo reeds readily absorb the scented oils and diffuse fragrances throughout the room. Plus, the containers are so drop-dead gorgeous they instantly up the sophistication of any room they grace.

New Diptyque Candles at C.O. Bigelow Now

diptyque_blog

C.O. Bigelow is excited to carry the new line of Diptyque home fragrance candles. Diptyque Candles are just so wonderfully French you might just think that Paris is across the room.

Each individual Diptyque candle is hand poured in Paris and the fragrances are always intoxicating yet never overpowering. The unique formulas are both simple and sophisticated. All Diptyque candles are instantly recognizable with their iconic oval black and white labels exuding the epitome of elegance.

We burn them – oftentimes two different scents together – whenever we want a little ohh-la-la at home. (We love their Room Sprays, too!)
